Abstract: Hybrid imaging technologies, which combine multiple imaging modalities such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), have revolutionized diagnostic medicine by offering a comprehensive view of both structural and functional aspects of the human body. The integration of these imaging techniques provides enhanced sensitivity and specificity, allowing for more accurate diagnoses, treatment planning, and monitoring of various diseases, particularly in oncology, neurology, and cardiology. This article explores the principles, advantages, challenges, and future directions of hybrid imaging, focusing on the integration of PET, CT, and MRI in clinical practice.
