Abstract: Chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and chronic respiratory disorders, account for a significant global health burden. Managing these conditions requires a multidisciplinary approach that extends beyond medical doctors to include the expertise of paramedical professionals. These professionals—such as physiotherapists, dieticians, laboratory technicians, and radiographers—play a pivotal role in patient care, from early diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and ongoing management. This article explores the diverse roles of paramedical professionals in chronic disease management, highlighting their contributions to improving patient outcomes, promoting adherence to treatment protocols, and supporting preventive care. Additionally, the challenges they face and opportunities for enhancing their impact in healthcare are discussed.
