Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the issue of educational and cultural work in children’s and youth politicized organizations. Attention is paid to the analysis of the techniques used by party leaders and the Komsomol in working with children. The Soviet political system directed the efforts of society towards building and strengthening a new system, in which youth played an important role. In the political system, youth directly participated in the creation of a new socialist society and a new culture, firstly, as members of society, and secondly, with their work they satisfied the goals and interests of society, created conditions for the general development and improvement of the socialist system. The party and the state relied on the Komsomol and youth to modernize the country on the principles of communism. The work is based mainly on archival materials. Conclusions are drawn about the importance of working with youth in Soviet Russia and carrying out reforms in the cultural sphere.
