Abstract: This study delves into the analysis of a fault-tolerant LLC resonant DC-DC converter and explores its application in electric vehicle charging systems. Through advanced control strategies and optimized designs, the efficiency and reliability of the converter are significantly improved, while grid disturbances are reduced. The proposed current feedforward control and direct power control methods enhance the performance of the converter. Experimental and on-site tests demonstrate that the designed converter operates efficiently and stably at high power levels, with the ability to tolerate grid voltage fluctuations. The integration of this converter with smart grids enables demand response management, optimizes grid load distribution, and reduces charging costs. A universal interface has been developed to accommodate different charging standards, and the modular design enhances market adaptability and user convenience. The integration of an intelligent charging management system enhances charging efficiency and user experience, achieving dynamic matching with electric vehicle battery status, grid load, and user demands. This study provides innovative ideas and solutions for electric vehicle charging technology, driving the development of the new energy vehicle industry and laying the foundation for future charging technology innovations.
