Abstract: This article examines issues aimed at improving strength endurance in strength sports (using the example of kettlebell lifting). Thus, the construction of athletes' strength endurance training has a more complex but interesting methodology because it combines the development of two opposite sports qualities and provides universal opportunities for the all-round development of a person. If in sports where a whole is required with narrow specialization, all attention should be paid to strength or endurance, then in such sports as wrestling, rowing, kettlebell lifting it is necessary to correctly build training by combining and paying equal attention to both strength and endurance. If we focus on the features of strength qualities, it will become obvious that their essence is reduced to the confrontation of the muscular system with external loads. The more an athlete develops this quality, the less endurance remains. Conversely, with the development of maximum endurance, strength qualities will decrease. To determine the power in weightlifting in the exercise of the jerk (weight of the kettlebell is 32 kg.) The exercise execution time is 10 minutes, the protocols of official competitions in weightlifting were analyzed. We involved three prize-winners from each weight category. The authors qualified the results of the jerk as strength endurance. The power of the result was calculated as the time of execution of the competitive exercise of the jerk divided by its result. In this sense, the effect of the athlete's competitive power during the start of the competition was recognized. The versatility of the strength endurance sport consists not only in the ability to perform any loads, but also in the fact that people who do not have clearly expressed qualities of strength or endurance, however, with proper training have the opportunity to achieve high results.
