Abstract: The question of the participation of the Sejm and the Chancellery of the Sejm in the programme for creators established by YouTube, considered from the perspective of the need to protect the solemnity of the Sejm, is highly evaluative. The monetisation of content published on YouTube, i.e., earning money from advertisements published in connection with the broadcasting of audiovisual material, is questionable. All activities of the Chancellery of the Sejm should be based on the law. It is difficult to find among the tasks of the Chancellery, as defined by the law, those which would constitute a basis for deriving profits from advertisements published in connection with the broadcasting of audiovisual material on YouTube. There is also no legal basis for the Chancellery of the Sejm to conduct charitable activities.
