Abstract: Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) presents a critical global crisis, endangering public health and healthcare systems worldwide.The misuse and overuse of antibiotics have hastened the emergence of resistant microbial strains.Antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) is pivotal in enhancing treatment efficacy and minimizing unnecessary medication use, thereby mitigating the advancement of antibiotic resistance and extending antibiotic effectiveness.
