Type: article
Abstract: Radial annular fin by considering radiation, convection, thermal-dependent internal heat generation, and a magnetic field has been analyzed. The porosity nature of the fin has also been investigated using Darcy's model. The thermal characteristics of three different nanoparticle morphologies are examined. Radial and tangential thermal stresses are calculated using platelet, hexahedron, and tetrahedron nanoparticles of copper. ND solve technique is applied to solve highly nonlinear problems. The present study combines thermal management to nanotechnology due to its far-reaching implications with improvement in heat transfer processes, minimize thermal stresses and fin design optimization. The graphical results show that the capacity to conduct heat transfer rate increases when the natural convection and thermal conductivity coefficient vary. Fin's cooling primarily depends on thermal radiation and magnetic field. At the tip and base of the film, the radial stress is 0, and the compression in that stress achieves its greatest value near R = 1.3 while the tangential stress reaches its maximum at the film's base. Additionally, the tangential stress exhibits higher tangential stress at the end radius. A study concludes that platelet particles outperformed tetrahedron and hexahedron nanoparticles regarding heat transfer and thermal stresses.
