Synthesis and Gas‐Sensing Performances of Mn 3 O 4 ‐Decorated Cr 2 O 3 Nanoparticle for H 2 S Detection
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Mn 3 O 4 decorated with Cr 2 O 3 was prepared via a cost‐effective and straightforward photolysis method and utilized as an H 2 S gas sensor. The nanocomposite exhibited excellent chemical sensing properties toward H 2 S gas at 200°C, achieving a sensitivity of 89.93. A proposed sensing mechanism highlights the synergistic roles of Mn 3 O 4 and Cr 2 O 3 in gas detection. This study underscores the potential of Mn 3 O 4 –Cr 2 O 3 composites in industrial and environmental monitoring applications, offering a reliable and efficient solution for detecting hazardous gases.
