Abstract: With the increasingly severe employment situation and the continuous improvement of career development requirements, the cultivation of college students' career planning ability has become an important issue in higher education. Career planning ability is not only related to students' personal development, but also an important guarantee for them to adapt to social needs and realize their self-worth. However, there are still problems in the cultivation of career planning abilities in universities, such as incomplete curriculum systems, inadequate practical platforms, single cultivation methods, and insufficient evaluation mechanisms. Therefore, this article systematically explores the ways to cultivate college students' career planning abilities from four aspects: curriculum cultivation design, practical training platform, innovative cultivation methods, and evaluation system construction, aiming to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for universities to carry out related work.
