Abstract: ABSTRACT Despite the biotechnological interest in microalgae, there remains limited available genomic data. To contribute resources to support the genetic engineering of microalgae, a high-quality draft genome sequence was assembled for the heterotrophic freshwater microalgae Chlorella vulgaris PKVL7422.
