Abstract: Natural asphalt sulfamic acid (NA-NHSO 3 H) was synthesized through the functionalization of natural asphalt (NA). The catalytic performance of NA-NHSO 3 H was evaluated in Knoevenagel and Claisen–Schmidt condensation reactions under mild conditions.
