Type: article
Abstract: This article is dedicated to the analysis of theological key terms of the Armenian Church, such as "God," "hypostasis," "essence," and "nature." Each of the examined terms carries a profound meaning and significance in the context of Christian and theological thought, and their analysis is important not only from a linguistic and philosophical perspective but also in defining theological concepts themselves. The author examines the origin, semantic content, and theological significance of these terms, emphasizing their philosophical and theological evolution and their role in shaping the theological thought of the Armenian Church. The study highlights their importance in conveying key Christian ideas, especially in the context of the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. Special attention is given to the semantic nuances of these terms, their connection to Greek and Hebrew theological traditions, and their role in preserving the spiritual and theological heritage of the Armenian Church. The necessity of accurately understanding these terms is underscored for correctly transmitting theological ideas and preserving their profound meaning. The article demonstrates how these concepts reflect the spiritual heritage of the Armenian Church and contribute to a deeper understanding of its theological thought.
