Prospects of Using M.n. Isyanbaev's Scientific Heritage in Modern Regional and Municipal Government

Abstract: The article, dedicated to the memory of Mazgar Nasipovich Isyanbaev, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan, who worked for more than fifty years at the Institute of Socio Economic Research of the UFIC RAS, analyzes the most important pages of his biography, as well as the main provisions of his scientific works on regional economics, substantiates the prospects their use in modern regional and municipal management, taking into account the new realities and global challenges of our time. The proposals and recommendations of M.N. Isyanbaev on improving the management of the development of national economic complexes and sub-complexes of the economy of the regions of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Belarus, in particular, construction, mining, agro-industrial and others in the context of the need to increase the efficiency of socio-economic development of cities and districts of the region are highlighted. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the problems and development prospects of the depressed south and northeastern regions of Bashkortostan.
