Abstract: afforded isomeric 4-iodides in a highly regioselective manner. The title iodides were demonstrated to be convenient building blocks for the preparation of more complex 3-trifluoromethylated pyrazoles through the model Suzuki-Miyaura and Sonogashira reactions.
