Abstract: The scientific school, founded by P.S. Atamanchuk, deals with the problems of implementing a methodology for managing the process of forming professional competencies of future teachers of physical and technological specialties in the context of the requirements of the modern educational paradigm and the guidelines of the National Qualifications Framework; improving technological schemes for creating and using targeted educational and professional programs and industry standards of higher education; illustration of the possibilities of using a didactic model for managing effective professional training of future teachers at the competence level, due to the focus on search and creative learning schemes, in accordance with the requirements of two-level education (bachelor's and master's models); justification of pedagogical expediency and effectiveness of implementation of a holistic didactic system of formation and development of a future physics teacher on the basis of given personal orientations and search and creative learning schemes. methodology of forma tion of physics didactics in modern conditions forecasting education in disciplines of natural, mathematical and technological educational fields in the conditions of personality-oriented learning and graduated education design of educational environments for various educational fields; use of reference measures of knowledge quality and objectification of control of educational and cognitive activity; management of educational and cognitive activity based on goal setting in the educational process; development of targeted educational and professional programs and educational standards for managing the process of forming professional qualities of future teachers; innovative technologies for the formation of STEM specialists in the context of European integration processes; development of technologies for involving students in effective research activities as an effective means of forming their own pedagogical credo “Belief in the student, his/her uniqueness and talent, belief that the main mission of the teacher is to find a way to reveal this talent”.
