Abstract: Society’s social demand for highly qualified specialists in engineering and technical STEAM specialties actualizes the need to improve the quality of their natural and mathematical training and create an innovative ECO environment in the context of digital transformation. The purpose of the research is the scientific justification, conceptualization and development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of the ECO environment of STEAM in the conditions of digital transformation, which will contribute to the improvement of the adaptation of the new generation of education seekers in the context of the SMART society. To achieve the outlined goal, the authors used the following research methods: theoretical and comparative analysis; experimental verification of teaching methods of engineering and technical disciplines using STEAM.
