“Color Pop” Value Addition to Combed Cotton Waste with a Pop Art Theme

Abstract: Fashion product collection entitled "COLOR POP" is a fashion product collection consisting of two sets of clothes, two pairs of shoes, and one clutch that utilizes cotton combed waste as the main material in its manufacture. Inspired by Pop Art which has contrasting and energetic colors. The theme has an Arty Style style. The specialty of this theme lies in the uniqueness of the play of contrasting colors and motifs poured into the Pop Art theme so that it shows an energetic and colorful impression. This fashion product is intended for early adult women aged 19-24 years who have high self-confidence, and a desire to appear different with simple but unique designs. This collection was created with the aim of reducing textile waste so that it does not cause pollution, adding artistic value and higher selling value by utilizing waste into products with the latest innovations. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach to explore the potential for sustainable waste materials in the fashion industry.
