Abstract: New-quality productivity is a crucial driving force for promoting high-quality economic development. The enhancement of total factor productivity, as an essential characteristic of new-quality productivity, is a key dimension in analyzing its connotation. In the agricultural sector of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the formation of new-quality productivity is of great significance for improving agricultural green total factor productivity. Empirical results indicate that new-quality productivity has a significant positive impact on the enhancement of agricultural green total factor productivity, functioning through technological innovation, policy support, digitalization, and intellectualization promotion. This study focuses on the measurement method and empirical research of agricultural total factor productivity from the perspective of new-quality productivity. By constructing a scientific measurement system and combining cutting-edge calculation methods, it conducts a dynamic assessment of agricultural green total factor productivity in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
