Abstract: The article examines the features of the public law principles of labor law. The author highlights the features of public law regulation of labor and related relations that distinguish such regulation in civil law. It is noted that in labor law, the state interest realized in certain norms is not related to the object of labor relations, and the protection of public interests may be related to the interest of a specific community. In addition, the expansion of public law principles in labor law and the change in their essence is attributed to one of the modern trends in the development of labor law in the Russian Federation.
