Applied Aspects of Design and Use of Multimedia Lectures in Geometric and Graphic Training of Maritime Transport Specialists

Abstract: The article considers applied aspects of using multimedia technologies in geometric and graphic training of maritime transport specialists. The main tasks and problems of developing and demonstrating multimedia presentations due to the specifics of geometric and graphic disciplines are revealed. A brief overview and analysis of the main forms of multimedia lectures on graphic disciplines is given. The author’s own experience of conducting lectures on descriptive geometry with various forms of multimedia support is analysed. The choice of a comprehensive presentation of study objects on slides of multimedia synchronous support for a lecture on a graphic discipline is substantiated. Fragments of a multimedia lecture developed by the author are presented and analysed from the point of view of clarity and effectiveness of perception.
