Abstract: This study reports the structures of various mid-valent half-sandwich chromium complexes, including hydride-bridged Cr–Al species with {CrCp*H 4 } 3− and {Cr 2 Cp* 2 H 4 } 3− chromate units that stabilize Al 3+ ions.
