Information Civilization and the Law: Significance of Limiting Factors. Introductory Insights
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article seeks to conceptualise the term “information society” and law as a limiting factor in its operation. Information society has no boundaries, no territory and may be conceptually captured using a functional view. At the same time, the author, as a legal scholar, sees possibilities for a normative response to changes in reality. This is a result of the obligation-setting nature of law, where we obtain a tool that allows us to manage and design new solutions, thus responding to action and shaping the future of the information society. In order to accurately identify the scientific problem, a closer external integration of the legal sciences is necessary, which can lead to reconstructing and discovering the interrelationships of the contemporary world.
