Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to seniors using dialogue-based methods. As the global population of older adults continues to grow, there is an increasing demand for personalized language instruction that addresses their specific needs and challenges. The primary objective of this study is to assess how dialogue-based instruction can enhance language acquisition, cognitive function, and social engagement among older learners. Key findings indicate that dialogue-based strategies significantly improve seniors' speaking and listening abilities while also providing cognitive and socio-affective benefits. Researchers report increased motivation, confidence, and social connectedness as a result of the learning experience. The study emphasizes the importance of adapting instruction to the unique needs of older learners and confirms the effectiveness of communicative, student-centered approaches in ESL education. Overall, this study offers new insights into ESL education for older adults by providing practical solutions for educators and emphasizing the role of dialogue-based learning in achieving language fluency and improving the quality of life for older persons.
