Type: article
Abstract: Introduction : The Hippo signaling pathway plays a critical role in mediating mechanotransduction ; however, its specific role in orthodontic tooth movement (OTM) remains unclear. Therefore, we investigated the expression patterns of TEA domain family member 1 (TEAD1), a Hippo pathway transcription factor, in rat periodontal tissues during OTM and determined its role in osteoblast differentiation of periodontal ligament (PDL) cells.
