Classification of New Towns by Population Age Group and Renovation of Detached Housing Areas
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study aimed to identify changes and current conditions by classifying each new town based on changes in the age composition of its residents, to isolate issues related to detached housing area renovation. The classification process divided new towns into four types, each with its own characteristics, and assumed the types to be in transition. Areas with frequently divided lots, vacant lots, and increasingly vacant houses were associated with stagnant renovation.
