Abstract: To ensure business continuity after an earthquake, it is important to maintain the functionality of the main facility. Therefore, in addition to reinforcing the seismic resistance of the base building, it is necessary to have a backup building in place. The base building should consider the feasibility of selecting the backup building. To assess feasibility, it is necessary to quantitatively capture the relationship between two indicators: “possibility of simultaneous damage” and “ease of transfer.” This study proposes a method for quantifying these two indicators and examines the site selection method for the base building.
