Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Educators express a keen interest in academic engagement; however, there exists a paucity of research examining the intricate interplay among academic engagement, mindset, and academic hope. This study endeavors to address this gap by investigating university students and soliciting their responses through instruments gauging academic hope, mindset, and academic engagement. The findings revealed elevated levels of academic hope, with both Deliberative and Implemental mindsets registering at a moderate level, alongside a similar moderate level of academic engagement. Additionally, the analysis demonstrated that academic hope emerged as a robust predictor of academic engagement, with the implemental mindset following closely in significance.
