Abstract: The formation of the lean management approach at the world and Russian large motor transport and industrial enterprises is considered. It is shown that using the lean management approach, it is possible to eliminate all possible losses in ensuring the effectiveness of traffic management on the urban road network. It is noted that by applying a lean approach to management, it is easy to find the cause of various problems in traffic management.
