Abstract: Objective: This study investigates the effects of auriculotherapy on the quality of life of climacteric women who are employees at the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN), analyzing its impact on the physical and emotional symptoms associated with climacteric transition. Theoretical Framework: The climacteric transition can cause significant physical and emotional impacts. Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (ICHP), such as auriculotherapy, emerge as non-pharmacological therapeutic alternatives to minimize climacteric symptoms. Method: This is an experimental before-and-after study with a quantitative approach. The effects of auriculotherapy were analyzed using the Kupperman Index and the Women's Health Questionnaire (WHQ), with a sample composed of climacteric employees from UERN. Results and Discussion: Auriculotherapy showed a positive impact on participants' quality of life. There was a reduction in vasomotor symptoms, improved sleep quality, and decreased nervousness and melancholy. The Women’s Health Questionnaire (WHQ) indicated an overall improvement in the well-being of climacteric women Research Implications: The potential of auriculotherapy as a complementary strategy in assisting climacteric women in the workplace is evident. The study suggests incorporating this technique into public and occupational health programs to promote women's well-being.
