Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study explores how organizational cultural characteristics influence innovation performance in high-tech enterprises through knowledge management mechanisms. Based on the Competing Value Model (CVM) and knowledge management theory, a conceptual model of "organizational cultural characteristics-knowledge sharing/knowledge integration-innovation performance" was constructed, analyzing the moderating role of potential absorptive capacity and realized absorptive capacity. Through questionnaire surveys and structural equation modeling analysis of Chinese high-tech enterprises, the research finds that: (1) clan culture, development culture, and market culture have significant positive effects on innovation performance; (2) knowledge sharing and knowledge integration mediate the relationship between organizational cultural characteristics and innovation performance; (3) potential absorptive capacity enhances the positive impact of organizational cultural characteristics on innovation performance; (4) realized absorptive capacity strengthens the effect of knowledge integration on innovation performance, but shows no significant moderating effect on the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovation performance. This research deepens the theoretical understanding of how organizational culture affects innovation performance mechanisms and provides practical guidance for high-tech enterprises to optimize organizational culture, enhance knowledge management capabilities, and improve innovation performance.
