Abstract: Social network sites have spread widely all over the world and are used by various users for several reasons and purposes.Different studies were made on social networks and their effects; however, very little practical evidence is available regarding the effect of using social networks on college students' academic performance and social engagement.This paper addresses the effect of using social networks, eg.Facebook and Twitter on students' engagement in both academic and social aspects.I.
