The First Record of the Genus Deltoidonautilus Spath, 1927 (nautilida: Cephalopoda) in the Palaeogene of the Crimean Peninsula, Ukraine

Abstract: The article describes a first record of a species of the genus Deltoidonautilus Spath, 1927 (D. cf. sowerbyi (Wetherell in Sowerby, 1843)) in the Palaeogene (Ypresian or lower Lutetian) deposits of the Crimean Peninsula, southern Ukraine. The data obtained expand the geographical distribution of this genus and complement the palaeontological characteristics of the Palaeogene succession of southern Ukraine.
