Abstract: This news section offers Cancer readers timely information on events, public policy analysis, topical issues, and personalities. In this issue, key findings are highlighted from the first annual cancer report from the American College of Surgeons. Also, select patients with metastatic breast cancer had significantly longer progression‐free survival with targeted therapy, and worse health quality outcomes were found in older women with endocrine therapy after breast‐conserving surgery.
