Abstract: English has become a crucial skill for students, particularly those specializing in the language, and English presentations are a required component of their academic program. However, speaking in a foreign language is an emotionally charged procedure that might cause variations in anxiety levels. This study looks into the elements that influence anxiety in primary education students at Thu Dau Mot University when making English presentations. Data was obtained using an online quantitative research questionnaire, yielding 80 valid replies from English-major students. The findings identify two major groups of factors that contribute to presentation anxiety: internal and external. Internal aspects include psychological impacts, lack of preparation, and linguistic proficiency, whereas external causes include instructor nervousness and ambient conditions. Furthermore, the study investigates the tactics students employ. Moreover, the study explores how students reduce anxiety and improve oral presentation skills. The findings help students and educators establish effective learning strategies and foster mental readiness for successful English presentations.
