Clinical and pathologic findings of Atypical Spitz tumor with ALK rearrangement: case report
Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Background: While most melanocytic proliferations can be reliably classified based on clinical and pathological criteria, distinguishing between nevus and melanoma can be difficult or even impossible in tumours with spitzoid features. Molecular testing for these lesions may be crucial for predicting biological behaviour, prognosis, treatment options, and determining future follow-up.[1]
