Validation of the MIA and MSKCC Nomograms for Sentinel Node Positivity Prediction in a Spanish Melanoma Cohort

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Background: In 2024, approximately 15 cases of melanoma per 100,000 people were diagnosed in Spain. While advancements in research and the introduction of novel treatments have contributed to reduced mortality rates, the rising incidence since 2003 (12 cases per 100,000 people) highlights the public health significance of this form of skin cancer.
