Abstract: Collecting campus rhyme and applying the theory of general rhetoric, this study aims to delve into the subjective mindset and value orientation behind the cultural phenomenon of campus rhymes.At the discourse level, campus rhyme is characterized by rhyming, well-structured sentences, and frequent use of parallelism.At the poetic level, some campus rhymes are no less than brilliant literary vignettes, boasting strong poetic implications and cultural connotations.From the perspective of rhetoric and philosophy, campus rhyme projects the thoughts and feelings of the young generation in the process of social transition as they strive to integrate into society and assert their individuality.Some rhymes even 汪子颖
