Research of thematic orientation of publications in the scientific periodicals of Ukraine in 2023 by sections of the UDC

Abstract: The article presents the results of a bibliometric analysis of the directions of scientific research in Ukraine by UDC sections for 2023 based on the database "Chronicle of Journal Articles". The state bibliographic index "Chronicle of Journal Articles" is published twice a month and contains analytical bibliographic information about articles, documentary materials, works of fiction published in journals, periodicals and continuing editions, bulletins published in the territory controlled by Ukraine. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the largest number of publications in the database "Chronicle of Journal Articles" for 2023 is contained in class 6 Applied Sciences. Medicine. Technology, and the smallest number is in class 2 Religion. Theology (theology). Analysis of the thematic focus of publications allows us to determine the main areas of scientific research, the results of which were published in scientific periodicals of Ukraine, in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine dated 11.07.2001 №. 2623-III "On priority areas of development of science and technology".
