Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: • Psychologists who are committed to working to further justice can use the transformative paradigm to guide their decision-making. • The transformative paradigm's assumptions explicitly address the need to address discrimination and oppression and address issues of power. • Examples illustrate applications in communities of color, people with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ population.
