Cricothyroidotomy in emergency room: Two challenging case scenarios
Year: 2024
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: In an emergency room, cricothyroidotomy is often considered the surgical airway of choice, preferred over an emergency tracheostomy. The procedure allows safe and effective airway management, with few complications. I present two cases of Super Vasmol poisoning with severe airway obstruction – “CANNOT INTUBATE, CANNOT VENTILATE” situation requiring emergency cricothyroidotomy.
