Abstract: ABSTRACT Gd2O3/ZnO‐loaded benzoxazine crosslinked polyaniline nanocomposites were successfully prepared by a thermal curing reaction and studied toward dielectric and electromagnetic interference shielding. Analytical methods such as powder X‐ray diffraction (P‐XRD), thermogravimetric analysis/differential thermal analysis (TGA/DTA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX) were used to evaluate the polymer‐nanoparticle composite films. The XRD peaks indicated hexagonal wurtzite polycrystalline structure of ZnO and cubic phase of Gd2O3. QBZO/PANI has a dielectric constant of 4.7 × 106at 1 MHz, which is found to increase proportionately with the addition of Gd2O3/ZnO at concentrations of 1%, 3%, and 5%, reaching 9.2 × 106, 1.6 × 107, and 1.9 × 107 at 1 MHz, respectively. The QBZO/PANI/Gd2O3/ZnO (5w%) polymer nanocomposites electromagnetic interference protection rises to 45.3 dB at 11.7 GHz for the sample having 2 mm thickness.
