Abstract: Corporate Philanthropy Report research in the field.In support of that mission, the foundation is currently accepting proposals for funding under its Independent Grant Award program, which funds research that directly impacts patients living with congenital heart disease, over the course of their lifetime.The program supports investigations in clinical cardiology, including surgical and interventional techniques, as well as translational research and population science.The ultimate goal is to fund the most promising research that will advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.Deadline: The deadline had not been published at press time but typically falls around the middle of May.Funds: Grants usually range up to $150,000 over 2 years.Eligibility: Applicants must be affiliated with an educational institution or
