Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of forming priority directions of legal policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional spiritual and moral values in the context of countering modern security threats and the spread of destructive ideology. Special attention is paid to the provisions contained in the fundamental strategic planning documents, as well as the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in implementing the provisions contained therein.
