Abstract: Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer accounts for approximately 20% of all breast cancer cases. The advent of therapies targeting HER2 has significantly improved the prognosis for HER2-positive breast cancer. Neoadjuvant/adjuvant chemotherapy with HER2-targeted agents is recommended for early and locally advanced breast cancer. The appropriate use of novel HER2-targeted therapies is recommended for metastatic breast. We aimed to examine the diagnosis and personalized treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer.
