Abstract: With China's expansion of its infrastructure, the country has rapidly developed its construction capacity and technology, positioning itself at the forefront of infrastructure. With its domestic demand fulfilled, China is now actively pursuing foreign infrastructure contracts, having taken on several large-scale national projects. This article aims to explore the reasoning of these international infrastructure construction projects conducted by China, focusing on short-term impact, local recipient benefits, and the effectiveness of China’s international strategy. Furthermore, this article will explore the relationship between these projects and the intense US-China conflict, examining whether they serve as tools to counter US strategy and undermine American influence in these regions.
