Abstract: Mediastinal teratomas, though rare in infants, can present with respiratory distress. Imaging plays a crucial role in diagnosis, with CT and PET aiding in characterisation. Surgical resection is the treatment of choice, with chemotherapy reserved for immature components. Early diagnosis is essential to prevent complications and optimise outcomes.
