Abstract: The article highlights the detrimental effects of corruption on contemporary society. This impact is incredibly destructive when repelling external aggression from a terrorist country. The commission of acts of corruption by military personnel generates despondency, frustration, and despair among citizens, and even more so among other military personnel who are faithfully participating in repelling the invasion. Corruption of this kind also undermines the trust of international partners and the effectiveness of aid, which is unacceptable in this situation and has consequences that are difficult to assess. The article analyzes a set of scientific works that focus on both understanding corruption as a socially unacceptable phenomenon and its presence in the military sphere. It is emphasized that there are currently no comprehensive monographic studies in this area, which significantly reduces the quality of scientific research in this area. The author describes various theoretical and legal approaches to defining the concept of corruption in modern legal science. Describes the range of corruption offenses and offenses related to corruption. The range of subjects that can commit such acts in the military sphere is determined. The article examines scientific studies that define the scope of corruption risks in the military sector. The article also analyzes scientific works that propose various areas of activity aimed at combating corruption in the military sphere. It should be noted that such areas correlate with the views of a particular author on the specifics of corruption in the military sphere. Based on the analysis of the proposed set of measures, certain conclusions are drawn, and specific areas for countering corruption in the military sphere are identified, as outlined in the analysis of scientific literature. Keywords: military law, corruption, corruption offenses, corruption-related offenses, military sphere, corruption risks, anti-corruption measures.
