Abstract: DNA lab National Institute of Forensic Science participated first AsianForensic Sciences Network Inter-Laboratory Collaborative Exercise, organized by theDNA Profiling Laboratory, Health Sciences Authority Singapore, was to determine andcompare the efficiencies of the DNA extraction methods.A total of 10 laboratories of the Asian Forensic Sciences Network member instituteshad participated during the exercises. DNA laboratory of National Institute of ForensicScience received 4 DNA samples which numbered A1, A2, A3 and A4 from Organizer.We obtained genomic DNA from 4 samples dissolved to TE buffer by “QIAampDNA Micro kit” Result had risen that rich the requirement of extracted DNA when wesent to the organizer.
