The Current Situation Analysis and Countermeasures Research of College Students’ Subject Competitions in Local Normal Universities—Taking Baoji University of Arts and Sciences as an Example

Abstract: 大学生学科竞赛作为我国高等教育体系中的关键活动，是希望通过竞赛这一平台，促进我国高等教育的发展，提高大学生的创新能力和实践能力。本文主要以宝鸡文理学院为例，针对我国地方师范院校大学生学科竞赛的现状进行了深入分析，并提出了相应的改进对策。研究发现，尽管地方师范院校大学生学科竞赛在提升学生专业素养、实践能力和创新精神方面具有重要意义，但在实际运行过程中仍存在诸多问题，如竞赛项目数量和质量有待提高，学生参与度不足，教师指导水平参差不齐等。针对这些问题，本文提出了相应的改进策略。希望通过本文的研究，为我国地方师范院校大学生学科竞赛的改革和发展提供更多有益的参考，进而促进学生全面素质的提高和教师教育的进步。As the key activity in the higher education system of our country, the subject competition of college students hopes to promote the development of higher education in our country and improve the innovative ability and practical ability of college students through the platform of competition. Taking Baoji University of Arts and Sciences as an example, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the present situation of the subject competition of college students in local normal colleges and universities in China, and puts forward some corresponding improvement countermeasures. It is found that although the subject competition of local normal colleges and universities is of great significance in improving students’ professional literacy, practical ability and innovative spirit, there are still many problems in the actual operation process, such as the quantity and quality of competition items need to be improved, the participation of students is insufficient, and the level of teacher guidance is uneven. In order to solve these problems, this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies. It is hoped that through the study of this paper, it will provide more useful reference for the reform and development of subject competition for college students in local normal colleges and universities in China, so as to promote the improvement of students’ overall quality and the progress of teacher education.
